LEED Platinum Building
343 Sansome was awarded the prestigious Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design LEED Platinum Certification in 2010 by the U.S. Green Building Council in recognition of energy and environmental upgrades that now makes our building one of the country's most environmentally sustainable properties. 343 Sansome's LEED Platinum Certification is the result of a longstanding commitment to energy efficiency. In addition to energy efficiency, the building has incorporated a variety of other sustainable strategies such as using green cleaning products, and recycling and composting 65% of consumables that otherwise
would have been sent to local landfills. We also purchased off-site renewable energy credits to offset 100% of purchased power for two years. 343 Sansome joins only 11 existing multi-tenant office buildings in San Francisco to qualify for LEED Platinum Certification, the highest rating possible. We are grateful for the outstanding efforts and dedication of the building management, engineers and tenants, and for the collaboration of the building vendors in making 343 Sansome one of the leaders in sustainability.
